‎Fire Guts Four-Room Bungalow in Ibadan, Oyo Fire Service Averts Spread to Neighbouring Buildings


‎The Oyo State Fire Services Agency has successfully contained a fire outbreak that gutted a four-room bungalow at Inu-Odi, Okiti along Ayegun-Olómi, Ibadan.

‎The agency said the incident was reported through a distress call made via telephone by Mr. Olaleye Babatunde, alerting the fire service to a burning residential building at the location.

‎Firefighters led by Assistant Chief Fire Superintendent, Adisa were promptly mobilised and deployed to the scene where they met the bungalow already fully engulfed in flames and thick smoke.

‎The fire crew quickly took control of the situation and successfully prevented the flames from spreading to neighbouring buildings and properties within the area.

‎According to the agency, No casualties were recorded in the incident, while investigations have commenced to determine the cause of the fire.

‎The firefighters deployed to the scene later returned to base safely and remained on standby for other emergencies.
