Popular Actor, Okunnu Commends Governor Makinde on Ibadan Circular Road, Other Major Projects

Popular Nollywood actor and comedian, Wale Akorede, widely known as Okunnu, has praised Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for his ongoing infrastructural developments across the state, particularly the Ibadan Circular Road project.
Okunnu expressed his admiration for the governor’s commitment to improving road infrastructure in Ibadan, describing the Circular Road as a bold and visionary project that will greatly enhance transportation, reduce traffic congestion, and boost economic activities in the state capital once completed.
The actor also commended Governor Makinde for addressing long-standing road problems in Ibadan, especially roads that had remained in poor condition for over three years. According to him, the recent repairs and rehabilitation of these roads have brought relief to residents and motorists who had endured years of hardship.
While acknowledging that the Circular Road project has caused temporary inconveniences in some areas, Okunnu appealed to the people of Oyo State to be patient and supportive of the governor. He urged residents to bear with the administration, stressing that the long-term benefits of the project far outweigh the current challenges.
Furthermore, Okunnu called on Governor Makinde to extend his road rehabilitation efforts to other parts of the state before the end of his tenure. He emphasized the importance of fixing remaining bad roads to ensure balanced development and improve the overall quality of life for citizens across Oyo State.
The actor concluded by encouraging continued cooperation between the government and the people, noting that sustained support from residents is essential for the successful completion of ongoing projects and the delivery of more dividends of democracy.
