‎Oyo Government Assures Residents of Sustained Security Through Collaboration With Intelligence Agencies

‎The Oyo State Government has assured residents of sustained peace and safety through its deliberate security assurance strategy, anchored on close collaboration with all security agencies operating in the state.

‎The assurance was given while receiving participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) 19 of the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS), Abuja.

‎Governor Seyi Makinde, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musbau Babatunde, said the state has continued to prioritise a united security architecture involving the Police, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Immigration, Customs, Federal Road Safety Corps and other relevant agencies.

‎According to him, the various agencies now operate in synergy through joint operational platforms such as the Rapid Response Squad and other coordinated response structures established by the government.

‎He noted that the integrated approach has strengthened intelligence sharing, improved emergency response time and enhanced the protection of lives and property across Oyo State.
