Oyo Police Step Up Security, Assure Residents of Safety
The Oyo State Police Command has assured residents of strengthened security measures across the state, reaffirming its commitment to protecting lives and property.
The assurance follows directives from the Force Headquarters to sustain public peace and order.
The Command said it has intensified visibility policing, with patrol vehicles and assets strategically deployed to key locations.
It noted that response time to distress calls and emergencies has also improved significantly, while the command also collaborate with other security agencies through joint operations and intelligence sharing to secure Oyo state better.
The Command said it is deepening engagement with community leaders and residents, especially in border areas, to enhance information gathering.
The Police authority then urged the public to report suspicious activities promptly through official emergency channels.
