Oyo PDP Caretaker Working Committee Felicitates Christian & Muslim Faithful on Lent, Ramadan
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State Chapter, through its Caretaker Working Committee, warmly and joyfully identifies with Christian and Muslim faithful across Oyo State and Nigeria as they enter the sacred seasons of Lent and Ramadan.
As a party deeply rooted in the hopes and aspirations of the people, the Oyo PDP stands in solidarity with our Christian brothers and sisters observing Lent, and with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they begin the holy month of Ramadan.
These are profound seasons of spiritual renewal, sacrifice, self-discipline, and unwavering devotion to Almighty God values that resonate strongly with our collective commitment to service, compassion, and unity.
In this solemn and reflective period, we pray that the fasting, prayers, and acts of charity that define Lent and Ramadan will usher in renewed strength, divine wisdom, and abundant blessings for every family in our dear state.
May this sacred time inspire hearts toward peace, deepen our faith in God, and rekindle our shared responsibility to build a just, harmonious, and prosperous society.
The Oyo PDP believes that the spiritual lessons of these holy observances love, tolerance, sacrifice, justice, and selfless service are essential pillars for the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
We therefore urge all citizens, irrespective of religious or political affiliation, to embrace these virtues and promote peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and unity in our communities.
