Makinde, Akande Hold Talks With EU Ambassador, 16 European Envoys On International Development Cooperation
Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has held talks with the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), His Excellency, Gautier Mignot, alongside ambassadors from 16 EU member states in Abuja.
Makinde disclosed this in a post on his official X handle, stating that the discussions centred on ongoing international development cooperation initiatives between the European Union and Nigeria, current affairs, and the future of the country.
The governor said the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss ongoing cooperation initiatives and broader issues concerning Nigeria’s development and future.
The Director-General of the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA), Dr. Debo Akande, was also present at the meeting.
The engagement forms part of discussions on international development cooperation with potential implications for Nigeria and Oyo State.
