‎Oyo Government Gives Update On 5.8km Olodo-Agandi-Egba Road, Targets October Completion

‎The Oyo State Government has given an update on the ongoing reconstruction of the 5.8-kilometre Olodo-Agandi-Egba Road, linking the Egbeda and Lagelu boundary, saying the project is scheduled for completion in October 2026.

‎The government disclosed this through its official feedback handle on X while sharing updates and photographs of the ongoing work.

‎According to the government, construction on the road commenced in January 2026 and is expected to run for nine months.

‎The project also covers the Agandi-Ayeloja Road and is designed to improve connectivity across communities along the route and towards the Egbeda/Lagelu boundary.

‎The scope of the reconstruction includes the construction of hydraulic structures, earthworks and asphaltic surfacing, as well as drainage and other structural works required to improve the road and facilitate smoother movement for residents, motorists, traders and other road users.
