‎Oyo Government Showcases Council-Level Infrastructure Projects, Assures More Dividends of Democracy at Grassroots

‎The Oyo State Government has showcased ongoing infrastructure projects being implemented at the local government level, assuring residents of more dividends of democracy at the grassroots.

‎The government highlighted the ongoing reconstruction of the 2-kilometre Balogun-Alalubosa, Apara, Oke Apo and Ajagba-Ogese roads by the Oyo East Local Government Council as one of the projects aimed at improving infrastructure and easing movement across communities.

‎The state government disclosed this through its official feedback handle on X, where it shared details of the project and directed residents to the Feedback Oyo platform for further information.

‎The government said the project is part of ongoing efforts to ensure that the impact of governance is felt beyond the state capital and extends to communities at the grassroots.

‎It added that local government councils remain critical to delivering meaningful development to residents, particularly through projects that directly address the infrastructure and socio-economic needs of communities.

‎The Oyo Government also assured residents that more projects and interventions would be delivered across the state’s 33 local government areas as efforts continue to deepen development at the grassroots.
