Governor Makinde Relieves Toyin Balogun of Appointment, Redeploys Faosat Sanni as Women Affairs Commissioner
Oyo State Governor, engineer Seyi Makinde has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, redeploying Alhaja Faosat Joke Sanni to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion while relieving the former commissioner, Honorable Toyin Balogun, of her appointment.
The development was announced on Wednesday, with the governor expressing appreciation to Balogun for her service and contributions to the growth and development of Oyo State.
Makinde wished the former commissioner success in her future endeavours, and directed that the redeployment and removal from office should take immediate effect.
Alhaja Sanni, who returns to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, previously served as commissioner in the ministry between 2019 and 2023 during the governor’s first term in office.
With the latest cabinet adjustment, Sanni will once again oversee the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.
