Cross River reports new COVID-19 case, activates response team
The Cross River government says it has recorded a new case of COVID-19 in the state.
According to, Henry Ayuk, the state commissioner for health, spoke at a press conference on Tuesday.
He said the index case involves a 53-year-old Chinese national working with Lafarge in Akamkpa LGA, who arrived in Nigeria on March 17 and subsequently developed symptoms.
