CP Olugbenga Pledges Robust Security Measures, Stronger Policing Across Oyo State
The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Abimbola Ayodeji Olugbenga, has reaffirmed his determination to strengthen security architecture across the state, pledging robust policing measures to safeguard lives, property and maintain peace during his tenure.
CP Olugbenga gave the assurance during a strategic meeting with the leadership of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), where discussions centered on deepening collaboration between the police and members of the public in the fight against crime.
The police commissioner emphasized the need for proactive policing, intelligence-driven operations and stronger community partnership as part of ongoing efforts to tackle criminal activities across Oyo State.
He reiterated that the command under his leadership would remain focused on professionalism, rapid response to security threats and improved confidence-building between officers and residents.
CP Olugbenga also assured citizens that the Oyo State Police Command would continue to deploy effective strategies aimed at preventing crime, protecting vulnerable communities and ensuring that law-abiding residents go about their daily activities without fear.
During the visit, the National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, commended the commissioner for his unwavering commitment to public safety and his people-oriented style of policing.
He described the police commissioner as a dedicated officer whose approach has continued to strengthen trust between the police and residents of the state.
