My dear fellow Nigerians,
Today, as I mark another year in the journey of life, I am filled with deep gratitude and joy for the privilege of serving this great nation. I sincerely thank all Nigerians for their warm wishes, prayers, and overwhelming show of love on the occasion of my 74th birthday.
I am equally grateful for your patriotism, solidarity, and steadfast support for our administration.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to those who took out space in newspapers and sponsored radio and television airtime to celebrate this day with me. Your generosity and goodwill are truly humbling.
I must also express my profound gratitude to my dear wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for his thoughtful remarks and continued partnership.
In keeping with my long-standing tradition of observing my birthday in reflection and in consideration of the national mood, I have chosen to mark this year’s occasion quietly.
As I reflect on this day, I am reminded of the challenges we have faced since embarking on our reform agenda.
I am encouraged that our collective sacrifices are beginning to yield results. Despite temporary setbacks, including those linked to the ongoing Middle East crisis, we can see a glimmer of hope ahead.
The progress we have recorded is not the achievement of any one individual or group alone. It is a shared accomplishment, made possible by the resilience, cooperation, and commitment of all Nigerians.
As we approach the third anniversary of this administration, I remain firmly convinced that we will succeed in building a brighter and more secure future for both present and future generations.
We are resolute in confronting the challenges before us, and with your continued support, we shall overcome them.
Let us remain united in our efforts to build a stronger, more prosperous, and resilient nation, one that stands as the pride of Africa.
