There was an atmosphere of glamour, excitement, and optimism as the Atayese of Fiditi and 2027 Oyo state governorship aspirant, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA and hundred of supporters storms Eagle Square to attend 2026 national convention of APC.
Olaoluwa, who also doubles as the President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation, (POF) and is a governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), attended the party’s National Convention held in Abuja on Friday.

Olaoluwa, who arrived in Abuja on Friday morning with close aides and later joined by supporters, recently returned from the United States of America for a business trip.
The convention witnessed a massive turnout of party faithful from across the country, creating a vibrant display of unity and shared purpose.
Delegates and supporters were seen adorned in party colours, chanting slogans and expressing confidence in the future of the party ahead of upcoming political contests.

Supporters of Olaoluwa described his presence at the event as a strong signal of his commitment to grassroots mobilization and active participation in party affairs.
Many noted that his engagement at the national level reflects his readiness to contribute meaningfully to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
