Eid-el-Fitr: CP Femi Haruna Orders Tight Supervision, Strategic Security Deployment Across Oyo State


‎The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Femi Haruna, has directed a comprehensive and closely supervised security deployment across the State to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

‎CP Haruna gave the order to the command’s formations In his goodwill message to Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan.

‎The Commissioner congratulated them for their devotion, sacrifice, and steadfast prayers, urging them to uphold the enduring values of peace, tolerance, and unity beyond the festive period.

‎As part of proactive security measures, the CP has ordered the strategic deployment of personnel, intelligence resources, and operational assets to critical locations across the State.

‎These include Eid prayer grounds, major highways, recreational centres, and other public spaces, with a focus on intensified patrols and sustained visibility policing.

‎The Commissioner also called on residents to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and security conscious, encouraging them to promptly report any suspicious movements or activities to the nearest police station or security post.

‎While wishing Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration, the CP reaffirmed the Command’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property and appealed for continued cooperation from the public.
