Pastor Jerry Eze’s Digital Grant Rises to $525,000 (₦747 Million) as Tony Elumelu, Tonye Cole, Flutterwave, Nuvion Bank Donate

Less than 24 hours after announcing a $300,000 grant to empower 100 youths across agriculture, technology, and manufacturing, Pastor Jerry Eze has returned with another exciting update.

In his latest announcement, Pastor Eze revealed that his friends, Tonye Cole and Tony Elumelu, have stepped in to sponsor even more beneficiaries. He also disclosed that Flutterwave and Nuvion Bank are supporting the project, raising the total grant amount to $525,000 (₦747 million).

Beyond funding, Tony Elumelu, through the Tony Elumelu Foundation, will provide business training for beneficiaries, while Flutterwave will offer tech support to all qualified participants.

‎Recall that Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International and the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), has announced a new youth empowerment initiative valued at $300,000, aimed at supporting young people across the country.

‎Under the programme, 100 youths are expected to receive $300 each as seed capital to support small businesses, vocational ventures, and personal development projects.

‎The initiative is designed to provide practical financial assistance at a time of rising unemployment and economic pressure on young Nigerians.

‎The empowerment scheme is part of Pastor Eze’s broader commitment to social impact and community development through the Jerry Eze Foundation.

‎Over the years, the foundation has carried out several humanitarian projects, including housing support for widows and business grants for young entrepreneurs.

‎According to him, the latest initiative seeks to move beyond spiritual encouragement by offering tangible economic support that can help beneficiaries become self-reliant.

‎To ensure transparency and accountability, the foundation disclosed that an independent international organisation will oversee the disbursement of funds.

‎The organisation will be responsible for verifying beneficiaries, managing payments, and monitoring the use of the funds to ensure they are applied strictly for empowerment purposes.

‎This measure, the foundation said, is intended to build public trust and eliminate concerns about mismanagement or favouritism.

‎Observers note that faith-based empowerment programmes are increasingly playing a role in addressing socio-economic challenges, especially among young people.

‎If successfully implemented, the $300,000 youth empowerment initiative is expected to provide financial relief to beneficiaries while reinforcing calls for collaborative efforts between religious institutions, civil society, and international partners in promoting sustainable youth development.
