Breaking: ‎Governor Makinde Begins Transition Plans, Prepares To Bow Out of Office_ Audio


‎Oyo State Governor, engineer Seyi Makinde, has announced that he has already begun preparations for a smooth transition ahead of the end of his administration in 2027.

‎The governor disclosed this at a gathering in Ibadan, noting that he has less than 18 months left in office.

‎Makinde explained that the early start to transition planning is part of his commitment to ensuring orderliness, continuity, and stability in governance.

‎He said leadership should not be centered on individuals but on systems capable of sustaining development beyond any administration.

‎According to him, the next set of leaders in the state must be adequately prepared for the responsibilities ahead.

‎He added that his role in the remaining months will include supporting, mentoring, and exposing emerging leaders to the demands of governance.

‎Maintaining transparency, governor Makinde said he will continue to be a guiding principle for his administration, while assuring residents that he will continue to work diligently until the final day in office.
