Pastor unveils Christian matchmaking platform with N700,000 VIP plan
Relationship coach and pastor, Kingsley Okonkwo, has unveiled a Christian matchmaking platform, Mentor To Marry, designed to help singles seeking intentional, faith based relationships and marriage.
Okonkwo, the lead pastor of David’s Christian Centre, announced the platform in a series of posts on X on Wednesday, saying it was created to help serious Christian singles connect with potential partners. The platform describes itself as a guided marriage preparation and matching community for Christian singles seeking intentional, faith based marriages.
While promoting the initiative, Okonkwo expressed concern over what he described as the increasing commercialisation of relationships, which he said had made it difficult for some young men to find genuine partners. He, however, clarified that the platform was not intended to suggest that all women were interested in relationships for financial reasons, noting that there were many women seeking serious and godly men.
According to the platform, members are expected to undergo eight weeks of mentoring classes, assessments and guided reflection before accessing its matching services. Its membership plans are divided into Regular, Premium and VIP, costing N70,000, N350,000 and N700,000 annually respectively.
The platform says membership does not guarantee a match, mutual interest or marriage and is open to Christians aged 25 and above.
