OsunDecides2026 INEC Uploads 402 of 3,763 Polling Unit Results
The Independent National Electoral Commission has commenced the uploading of results from Saturday’s Osun State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal, IReV.
Checks on the portal as of 4:03 pm showed that results from 402 polling units had been uploaded out of the 3,763 expected across the state, representing 10.68 per cent of the total number of polling units.
Data on the IReV portal indicated that the latest upload was recorded at 4:03:10 pm from polling unit 29/02/04/006, as sorting, counting and collation continued across Osun State’s 30 local government areas.
The election features Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is seeking re-election, alongside All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Oyebamiji, African Democratic Congress candidate Najeem Salaam and other contenders. The ongoing uploads are being closely monitored by voters, political parties and election observers through the IReV platform, which allows polling unit results to be viewed electronically.
The commission’s Result Stats section on the portal continues to update as fresh results are uploaded from polling units. As of press time, however, the number of uploaded results remained at an early stage, with more results expected to be transmitted as collation progresses at ward and local government levels.
