APM’s Kuso Rallies Support for Makinde, Party Candidates Ahead 2027 Polls
The Chairmanship Aspirant of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon. Alhaji Akeem Akintola Kuso, has called on the people of Oyo State, particularly residents of Ibarapa East, to remain resolute in their support for the APM and all its candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Kuso urged party members and supporters to work collectively for the success of the party’s candidates at all levels, including the APM Presidential Candidate, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde; the party’s governorship candidate in Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Adekanbi; the Oyo South Senatorial candidate, Hon. Stanley Olajide (Odidi Omo); the Ibarapa East State House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Debo Ogundoyin; other candidates of the party across the state; as well as his own aspiration for the chairmanship of Ibarapa East Local Government.
He stressed that the forthcoming elections present another opportunity for the people to deepen the gains of good governance, urging voters to remain united and committed to the ideals of the APM.
Kuso also appealed to party faithful not to be distracted by the activities or propaganda of political opponents, expressing confidence that the APM remains the best platform to sustain the developmental strides already recorded across Oyo State.
According to him, every candidate of the party is committed to building on Governor Makinde’s developmental legacy through people-centred governance, inclusive leadership, infrastructural development and policies that will improve the welfare of the people.
He assured residents of Ibarapa East that, if elected chairman, he would prioritize grassroots development, youth and women empowerment, improved social amenities and responsive local government administration capable of addressing the needs of the people.
Reaffirming his commitment to the party’s vision, Kuso urged supporters to remain steadfast, united and focused, expressing optimism that the APM would emerge victorious at the polls and continue moving Oyo State on the path of sustainable growth and shared prosperity.
