Sam Larry hospitalised, bouncer dies in Lagos road crash
Nigerian music promoter and socialite, Sam Larry, has reportedly been hospitalised following a road accident along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Lagos State.
The crash, which reportedly occurred in the early hours of Saturday, involved the vehicle conveying Sam Larry and a trailer. According to reports, the vehicle collided with the trailer, leaving it extensively damaged.
The accident also reportedly claimed the life of Sam Larry’s bouncer, who was said to have died at the scene.
Videos and photographs circulating on social media showed the vehicle with severe front-end damage, underscoring the impact of the collision.
The incident gained public attention after comedian and master of ceremonies, Mario Wazobia, shared posts on his Instagram page calling for prayers for the music promoter.
In one of the posts, he wrote, “Pray for Sam Larry,” while another indicated that the music promoter had been taken to hospital following the accident.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Sam Larry’s family nor his management had issued an official statement on his condition.
Similarly, the police and other relevant authorities had yet to release an official account of the circumstances surrounding the crash or confirm the reported death of his bouncer.
