Eid Kabir: Oyo College of Nursing Provost Felicitates Muslims
The Provost of Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Dr. Gbonjubola Owolabi, has felicitated Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid Kabir, urging them to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, love, peace and unity as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
In a statement issued on Wednesday on behalf of the Provost by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Fasasi Ismail, Dr. Owolabi encouraged staff, students and residents to use the festive season to pray for continued peace, progress and development in Oyo State and the country at large.
She further extended her felicitations to the Visitor to the College, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of the celebration.
The Provost reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and moral values, while wishing Muslims a peaceful, joyous and rewarding Eid Kabir celebration.
