Segun Olaleye “Radical” Moves Round Ibadan With Bell Like Prophet, Rains Curses on Senator Alli, Others in Front of Olubadan’s Abode
Oyo State House of Assembly aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Segun Olaleye, popularly known as “Radical,” has reportedly been moving around parts of Ibadan expressing anger and frustration following his loss in the party’s primary election.
Olaleye, who contested for the APC ticket for Ibadan North Constituency II, was allegedly seen carrying a bell like a prophet while moving through parts of the city and openly raining curses on Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli and some APC leaders over the outcome of the primary election.
He was first spotted at the APC secretariat in Oke Ado, where eyewitnesses claimed he condemned the party leadership and accused some stakeholders of influencing the process against him.
Viral video further showed that the aggrieved politician later moved to the Bodija area of Ibadan, close to the residence of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, where he reportedly continued raining curses on Senator Alli and others.
Olaleye was also reportedly sighted opposite the residence Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, although the reason for his visit could not be independently confirmed as of the time of filing this report but was also seen cursing at the area.
The incident has generated reactions within political circles in Ibadan, with many APC supporters expressing concern over the tension trailing the party’s primary elections ahead of the next political season.
As of the time of this report, neither Senator Sharafadeen Alli nor the Oyo State APC leadership had officially reacted to the development.
