Oyo Hosts International Tourism Summit 2026 as Stakeholders Gather in Ibadan to Strengthen Sector Growth & Partnerships
The International Tourism Summit Oyo State 2026 has commenced at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, bringing together key stakeholders in tourism, investment, and governance.
The three-day summit is expected to feature curated tours, discussions, partnerships, and commitments aimed at shaping the future of the sector in Oyo State.
Top government officials and dignitaries in attendance include Oyo State Deputy Governor, Chief Bayo Lawal, and the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde.
Other officials at the venue include the Commissioner for Lands and Housing, William Akin-Funmilayo; the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources; the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism; and the Director-General of the Oyo State Investment and Public-Private Partnership Agency (OYSIPA), Olatilewa Folami.
The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa is also expected at the summit, alongside foreign investors expected to participate in high-level engagements and partnership discussions.
Governor Seyi Makinde is also expected to arrive shortly to formally declare the summit open and officially commence proceedings.
