‎Oyo Hosts International Tourism Summit 2026 as Stakeholders Gather in Ibadan to Strengthen Sector Growth & Partnerships


‎The International Tourism Summit Oyo State 2026 has commenced at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, bringing together key stakeholders in tourism, investment, and governance.

‎The three-day summit is expected to feature curated tours, discussions, partnerships, and commitments aimed at shaping the future of the sector in Oyo State.

‎Top government officials and dignitaries in attendance include Oyo State Deputy Governor, Chief Bayo Lawal, and the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde.

‎Other officials at the venue include the Commissioner for Lands and Housing, William Akin-Funmilayo; the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources; the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism; and the Director-General of the Oyo State Investment and Public-Private Partnership Agency (OYSIPA), Olatilewa Folami.

‎The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa is also expected at the summit, alongside foreign investors expected to participate in high-level engagements and partnership discussions.

‎Governor Seyi Makinde is also expected to arrive shortly to formally declare the summit open and officially commence proceedings.
