NRS launches Rev360 digital platform to streamline tax administration

The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has unveiled Rev360, a new digital tax administration platform aimed at modernising tax processes and improving service delivery to taxpayers across the country.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the agency said the rollout marks its transition into what it calls “Tax Administration 3.0”—a shift from manual and fragmented systems to an integrated, technology-driven framework.

According to the NRS, Rev360 is designed to simplify tax compliance, enhance transparency, and provide real-time visibility into tax transactions. The platform is also expected to strengthen compliance while improving the overall taxpayer experience.

Speaking at the launch, the Executive Chairman of the NRS, Zacch Adedeji, described the platform as a strategic reform aimed at rebuilding trust in the tax system and supporting broader economic growth.

“Rev360 is more than a platform; it is a statement of intent. It reflects our commitment to building a tax system that works seamlessly for every Nigerian, strengthens trust in public institutions, and supports the growth of our economy,” Adedeji said.

“This is about creating a future where tax administration is not a burden, but an enabler of national development.”

Ahead of the rollout, the agency said it carried out a nationwide readiness programme, including training for end-users across tax offices, stakeholder webinars, sensitisation sessions, and live demonstrations of the platform.

It also introduced a feedback and support framework comprising frequently asked questions (FAQs) and a multi-channel response system to ensure continuous engagement with taxpayers, consultants, and other users.

“These efforts are aimed at ensuring that taxpayers, consultants, and all users of the platform are not only aware of Rev360, but fully prepared and supported in its use,” the statement added.

The NRS said the platform will be deployed in phases, beginning with medium and emerging taxpayers, before extending to large taxpayers and government institutions.

It added that the launch underscores its commitment to modernisation, operational efficiency, and improved taxpayer services as part of ongoing reforms in revenue administration.
