Ambassador Adeleke, APC Leaders Unveil PBAT Again 2027 Office in Oyo State, Intensify Grassroots Push for Tinubu’s Re-election
Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Sunday unveiled the PBAT Again 2027 office in Ibadan, declaring the move as a major step toward intensifying grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
The commissioning ceremony, held at the newly opened office located in the Oke-Bola area of Ibadan, attracted party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and political associates from across the state, signalling early preparations ahead of the next general elections.
Convener of the PBAT Again 2027 support group, Ambassador Victor Kunle Adeleke, said the establishment of the office was aimed at strengthening grassroots structures, promoting political participation, and sustaining support for the Tinubu administration.
Adeleke, who also serves as the President’s State Chief of Protocol (SCOP), described the initiative as a strategic platform designed to consolidate the gains of the current administration while building momentum for 2027.
He said the office would serve as a centre for organisation, coordination, and engagement with party members and supporters across Oyo State.
“Today is not just about unveiling a physical office; it is about reinforcing a political vision rooted in continuity, stability, and progress for Nigeria.
“This office represents organisation, coordination, and grassroots mobilisation, which are critical to lasting political success.
“PBAT Again 2027 is not just a slogan. It is a deliberate call to consolidate reforms, deepen governance outcomes, and ensure that national development remains on course,” Adeleke said.
In his remarks, the Oyo State Coordinator of the group, Alhaji Olatunde Sunmonu, described the unveiling of the office as a landmark development for supporters of President Tinubu in the state.
He noted that the office symbolises a strong commitment to the President’s Renewed Hope agenda and would provide a platform for mobilisation, engagement, policy dialogue, and consultation across the state.
Sunmonu commended Adeleke for his leadership and vision in bringing the project to reality.
“This office is more than a structure; it is a symbol of our commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“It will serve as a strategic hub for mobilisation and consultation on the achievements of this administration across Oyo State,” he said.
The Oyo State APC Chairman, Alake Adeyemo, said the office opening reflected renewed determination by party leaders to galvanise support for Tinubu’s second-term bid.
He urged party members, stakeholders, and supporters to begin early mobilisation at the grassroots ahead of the 2027 elections.
Senator Fatai Buhari, in his goodwill message, described the initiative as forward-looking and impactful, adding that it demonstrated the need for political actors and appointees to support governance and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Also speaking, APC chieftain and governorship hopeful, Barrister Akeem Agbaje, stressed the importance of unity within the party.
He warned against imposition and internal divisions, saying past electoral experiences showed that cohesion, inclusiveness, and credible candidates were necessary for victory.
Other dignitaries at the event included Senator Sarafadeen Alli, representing Oyo South Senatorial District; Hon. Akeem Adeyemi (Skimeh); Senator Hosea Agboola; Hon. Fatai Adeshina; Hon. Muraina Saubana; representatives of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu; Senator Yunus Akintunde; and Leader of the Igbo community, Dr. James Oramadike.
They commended Adeleke for the initiative, describing it as timely and strategic in strengthening grassroots mobilisation and boosting support for Tinubu’s re-election campaign in Oyo State.
The leaders also praised the Tinubu administration’s performance in the areas of economic reforms, education, finance, social development, and infrastructure, insisting that the President deserved another term in office.
