Petrol Price to Go Back to Normal as Iran Declares Strait of Hormuz Completely Open
After weeks of shipping disruption that rattled energy markets, Iran has declared the Strait of Hormuz completely open to commercial traffic.
Abbas Araghchi, Iranian foreign minister, announced the development in an X post on Friday, hours after a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon took effect.
However, Araghchi said vessels must transit through a “coordinated route” announced by Iran’s maritime authorities.
The latest development has signaled hope to the Nigerian people as hike in petrol Price caused by the global effect of the route closed by Iran, will now ease and back to normal.
