OYRLEA Enforcement Team Impounds Nine Cows at Ijaye Farm Settlement
The Enforcement Team of the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA) has impounded Nine Cows found roaming and grazing freely within the premises of the Ijaye Farm Settlement in the Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Commenting on the exercise, the Chairperson of the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA), Honourable Justice Aderonke Aderemi (Rtd.), said the impoundment of the cows represents a significant step toward curbing the activities of herders in farm settlements and promoting sustainable agriculture in the state.
Justice Aderemi explained that the Oyo State Government has consistently condemned open rearing and grazing, emphasizing its commitment to protecting farmers and ensuring a secure environment for agricultural activities to thrive.
