Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi Remembers Late Political Mentor, Kehinde Subair as Family Marks One-Year Remembrance
A grassroots development advocate and aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1, Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi, has paid glowing tribute to his late political mentor, Hon. Kehinde Subair, as his family marks the first anniversary of his passing.
Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi described the late Subair as a committed grassroots politician, a bridge builder, and a man whose influence in Oyo State politics remains unforgettable.
According to him, the late APC stalwart played a significant role in nurturing younger politicians and providing guidance for many who today remain active in the political landscape of the state.
“Hon. Kehinde Subair was more than a political leader to me and many of us; he was a mentor and a father figure whose words of wisdom and political guidance continue to shape my approach to leadership and public service,” Faysol said.
He noted that the late politician’s legacy of loyalty to the progressive movement, dedication to party unity, and passion for grassroots development continues to inspire many within the party and beyond.
Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi prayed for the continued repose of the soul of the departed leader and urged the family, political associates, and admirers of the late Subair to sustain the ideals he stood for.
“As the family commemorates this one-year remembrance, we are reminded that though he is no longer with us physically, the impact of his life and service to humanity will continue to live on,” he added.
He also extended his heartfelt prayers and solidarity to the family of the late APC chieftain, asking God to grant them the strength to continue to uphold his legacy.
Hon. Kehinde Subair passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, in London, United Kingdom.
