Olopoeyan Celebrates Dotun Sanusi at 58, Says His Philanthropy Leaves Lasting Imprints on Ibadanland
Alhaji Adebisi Aremu Olopoeyan has celebrated Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, on his 58th birthday, describing his philanthropy, humility and commitment to humanity as qualities that continue to leave lasting imprints on Ibadanland.
Olopoeyan, an Ibadan-based political chieftain, congratulated Sanusi on the milestone, noting that his life and engagements reflected the values of compassion, purposeful leadership and service to the people.
He said Sanusi’s contributions to community development had earned him recognition beyond his professional and business accomplishments, particularly through his willingness to deploy his resources, position and influence to support others.
According to Olopoeyan, the celebrant’s philanthropic activities and initiatives aimed at improving people’s welfare demonstrate an understanding of the responsibilities that come with success and leadership.
He noted that Sanusi’s traditional titles, including Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, represent not only honour and recognition but also the expectations of service, responsibility and commitment to the progress of the community.
The political chieftain stressed that Ibadanland and Oyo State needed more individuals willing to contribute meaningfully to development, support the less privileged and create opportunities for younger generations.
Olopoeyan expressed confidence that Sanusi would sustain his contributions to humanity, adding that his birthday offered an opportunity to reflect on the positive impact of his philanthropic engagements and commitment to community development.
He wished the celebrant many more years of good health, wisdom, peace and fulfilment, praying that his new year would bring greater accomplishments in his business, philanthropic activities and efforts towards the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State.
Olopoeyan described Sanusi’s 58th birthday as a celebration not merely of age but also of the difference he continues to make in the lives of individuals and communities, wishing him many more fruitful years of service to humanity.
