Tinubu Felicitates Dotun Sanusi at Birthday, Hails Philanthropy, Youth Development, APC Loyalty
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has felicitated Chief Engineer Dotun Jubril Sanusi, businessman, philanthropist and All Progressives Congress (APC) loyalist, on his birthday, commending his contributions to community development, youth empowerment and the party.
The President, in a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, described Sanusi as a committed party member who had continued to mobilise support ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
Tinubu noted that the Ibadan-born businessman built a successful career in the oil industry, working with multinational companies, including Halliburton, Saipem, Hanover and Beckfield, before establishing TNL Drilling Services, which has since recorded significant growth.
He also acknowledged Sanusi’s role as Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort in Ibadan, Oyo State, describing him as a businessman who had demonstrated compassion, generosity and commitment to humanity.
“As a businessman of note, you have demonstrated compassion, generosity and an unwavering commitment to humanity, giving back to your community roots, Ibadan and Oyo State at large,” the President said.
Tinubu further praised Sanusi’s commitment to youth development through the establishment of ICAST School and Ilaji Soccer Academy, noting that the initiatives provide opportunities for young people to develop their talents and pursue careers in football.
According to the President, the soccer academy has created a platform for nurturing football talents for recruitment by Spanish and Maltese teams.
He described Sanusi as an exemplary son of Ibadan and Oyo State whose humility and kindness had earned him admiration, while also appreciating his contributions to the APC and his personal support.
“I appreciate your invaluable contributions to our party and your unalloyed personal support,” Tinubu stated.
The President prayed that God would grant Sanusi good health, greater accomplishments and many more fulfilling years of service to humanity as he celebrates another birthday.
