Aborisade Hails Olubadan at Birthday, First Coronation Anniversary
The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, Barrister Chief Niyi Aborisade, has extended warm congratulations to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, on the celebration of his birthday and the first anniversary of his ascension to the prestigious Olubadan throne.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Aborisade described the monarch as an outstanding statesman and an exceptional traditional ruler whose reign has rekindled hope, strengthened unity and reinforced the enduring values of peace, justice and progress across Ibadanland.
He said the monarch’s transition from a distinguished public servant to the custodian of the ancient city’s cultural heritage has continued to earn him admiration both within and beyond Oyo State, noting that his wealth of experience remains invaluable to the growth of Ibadanland.
Aborisade commended the Olubadan for promoting harmony among traditional institutions, encouraging peaceful coexistence and providing purposeful royal leadership since ascending the throne.
“On this special occasion of Your Imperial Majesty’s birthday and the first anniversary of your glorious reign, I join the good people of Ibadanland and well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating a royal father whose life has been dedicated to service, integrity and the pursuit of the common good.
“Your wisdom, courage and fatherly guidance have continued to inspire confidence and unity among the people. It is my sincere prayer that Almighty God grants Your Imperial Majesty many more years of sound health, abundant grace and divine wisdom to continue steering Ibadanland towards greater peace, prosperity and sustainable development.”
The ADC stalwart further reaffirmed his respect for the revered monarch and prayed that the Olubadan stool would continue to flourish under Oba Ladoja’s reign, bringing enduring blessings, stability and progress to Ibadanland and the entire Yoruba nation.
