Broda Shaggi Breaks Silence After Months, Promises Stronger Comeback
Nigerian skit maker and actor, Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has broken his silence after staying away from the public scene for several months.
The comedian, who has kept a low profile and remained largely absent from shows, events and other social engagements in recent months, expressed appreciation to fans who continued to support and check on him during his absence.
In a heartfelt message shared on his WhatsApp channel on Friday, Shaggi thanked his supporters for remaining loyal despite his prolonged silence.
“To everyone who’s still here… waiting, checking in, showing love, and holding me down even through the silence, thank you. I don’t think y’all truly understand how much that means to me,” he wrote.
He said that although he had not been able to engage with his fans as much as he would have wanted, their continued support had meant a lot to him.
“Even when I haven’t been able to show up the way I wanted to, knowing that y’all are still here has meant more than I can put into words,” he added.
Shaggi, however, did not disclose the reason for his prolonged absence, saying he was not yet ready to reveal everything.
“I wish I could tell y’all everything right now… but I can’t. Not yet. Just know I haven’t forgotten about you, and I haven’t stopped thinking about the day I can finally come back and really be ME with y’all again. I’m hoping that day comes soon,” he said.
The actor assured his fans that he was looking forward to returning to the public space and promised to come back stronger.
“And when it does, I promise I’m coming back better, stronger, and ready to make up for all this lost time,” Shaggi said.
He concluded his message by expressing his appreciation to his fans for their patience and continued support, writing, “I LOOOOOOOOR Y’ALL SOOOO MUCH. Thank you for staying. Thank you for being patient with me. Thank you for still being here.”
Shaggi’s return to public communication comes months after reports of an alleged shooting incident involving the comedian sparked concern among fans and generated widespread speculation about his wellbeing.
