‎Widow Seeks Release of Husband’s Remains, Appeals for Children’s Education

‎The widow of one of the victims of the tragic Oriire kidnapping incident, Mrs. Olaleye, has appealed to the Oyo State Government and other relevant authorities to release the remains of her husband, Mr. Olaleye John Olayinka, who was reportedly killed by his abductors after spending weeks in captivity.

‎Speaking on her ordeal, the grieving widow said she was heartbroken when her husband was not among those rescued and was later declared dead by the kidnappers.

‎She appealed to the government to help recover and release his remains so the family could give him a dignified burial.

‎Mrs. Olaleye disclosed that her late husband left behind three children, whose welfare and education now rest solely on her shoulders.

‎She appealed to the government and well-meaning Nigerians to assist in sponsoring the children’s education, saying the burden has become overwhelming.

‎Reacting to the #50 million relief reportedly approved by the Nigerian Senate for families of those who died in the Oriire kidnapping incident, Mrs. Olaleye said she has yet to receive any information regarding the intervention.
