Ogun APC Support Group Council Expresses Readiness To Work For Electoral Success of Senator Yayi, Kudirat Adegunwa, Other Party Candidates

The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressive Congress Support Group Coimcil has expressed its readiness to work for the electoral success of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola as the governor of Ogun state and his deputy, Alhaja Kudirat Adegunwa as deputy governor of Ogun state in 2027.
The group stated this during its maiden leaders meeting held at Cheers Bar, Abeokuta on Thursday.

The group who spoke through his state coordinator, Lekan Shobo Shobowale said it will also ensure the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
The group also endorsed all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun states as part of its political position ahead of the elections.
Ogun APC Support group council also described Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola as generally accepted candidate who is capable of driving continuity in governance accross Ogun State.

The further said its decision followed extensive consultations across the 20 local governments in Ogun especially among support group leaders.
He said the group considered the decision in the interest of equity, justice and fair play as well as all round development of Ogun state.
He added that the group decided to support the candidates because they were perceived as offering practical continuity while maintaining focus on long-term development in the state.
According to Shobowale, the endorsement was also intended to strengthen political participation and ensure greater developmental programmes of other region in Ogun State.
He noted that members of the group believed continued support for the APC administration could contribute to economic and infrastructural development of Ogun state.
In his remark at the meeting, Hon Gbenga Adekanmbi urged members of the group to intensify mobilisation efforts at the grassroots level ahead of the elections.

She called for broader participation of all in leadership positions, stressing that inclusion and effective participation remained important for sustainable development.
The group urged all residents of Ogun state to support the endorsed candidates, describing the 2027 election as significant for the future of the state.
Also, at the event, various forms of souvenirs were distributed as well as campaign jingles and promo.
