CDCFIB Issues Fresh Guidelines Ahead of Medical Screening for Recruitment Exercise
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a new directive to applicants participating in its ongoing recruitment exercise, clarifying key instructions ahead of the medical screening phase.
The update was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Head of Press to the Secretary of the Board, Okeh Juliet.
According to the Board, applicants are advised to disregard any unofficial information circulating regarding dress code and document requirements for the exercise.
It stated that there is no specific dress code prescribed for candidates scheduled to participate in the medical screening exercise, which is set to commence on Sunday, June 22, 2026.
The Board further directed applicants for positions in the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to appear in simple and decent attire.
It also warned candidates not to bring any credentials or documents to the screening venues, noting that no document verification would be conducted during the medical screening phase.
“Any information directing candidates to wear a particular dress code or bring their credentials should be disregarded, as such directives did not emanate from the Board,” the statement read.
The CDCFIB reiterated its commitment to a transparent and orderly recruitment process, urging applicants to rely solely on official communication channels for verified updates.
