BANA Preaches Faith, Unity, Prosperity in Eid Message

As Muslims across Oyo State and Nigeria join millions around the world to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, Oyo State 2027 governorship hopeful, Barrister Chief Niyi Aborisade, popularly known as BANA, has called on residents to remain steadfast in faith, prayerful, and hopeful despite the nation’s socio-economic and security challenges.

In a goodwill message released to commemorate the celebration, BANA extended warm Eid Mubarak greetings to the good people of Oyo State, wishing Muslim faithful and all residents a peaceful and joyous celebration filled with blessings and divine favour.

The governorship hopeful charged citizens not to allow present realities to weaken their faith, stressing that difficult times require stronger trust in God and collective commitment toward building a better society.

According to him, “Eid teaches sacrifice, patience, obedience and total submission to the will of Almighty God. This period should remind us that no challenge lasts forever and that with faith in God, every hardship has an expiry date.”

BANA urged residents of Oyo State and Nigerians at large to continue believing in God as the ultimate creator and sustainer of mankind, noting that human efforts alone cannot solve the numerous challenges confronting the nation.

He maintained that while economic hardship, insecurity and social difficulties may have created anxiety among citizens, divine intervention remains crucial in overcoming the present realities.

The legal icon and political figure called on citizens not to lose hope in the future of Oyo State and Nigeria, saying collective prayers and unity remain critical tools needed to restore peace and prosperity.

He further offered prayers for abundance, prosperity and national rebirth, asking God to bless families with wealth, happiness and lasting peace.

“I pray for love among our people, unity among our leaders and citizens, and divine prosperity for our dear nation. May God strengthen the bond that holds us together and bless our land with progress and development,” he stated.

BANA also used the opportunity to advocate stronger community support systems and greater concern for one another, emphasizing that a society thrives better when citizens promote kindness, compassion and brotherhood.

Speaking on the recent insecurity concerns in Oyo State, he expressed deep concern over the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area, describing the incident as painful, disturbing and unacceptable.

He called on government authorities and security agencies to intensify rescue efforts and deploy every available measure necessary to ensure the safe return of the victims.

The governorship hopeful urged coordinated actions, stronger intelligence gathering and increased security surveillance across communities to prevent similar incidents.

He also appealed to residents to support security agencies with credible information capable of assisting rescue operations.

“As we celebrate, our thoughts and prayers remain with the children, teachers and their families. We pray that Almighty God grants wisdom, strength and success to security agencies and government authorities in bringing them back safely,” he added.

BANA concluded by reminding residents that Eid is not only a season of celebration but also a time of reflection, sacrifice and renewed hope for a brighter Oyo State and a greater Nigeria.
He wished all residents: “Eid Mubarak and Barka Da Sallah to all the good people of Oyo State.”
