Findings show that many young Nigerians continue to travel through unsafe and irregular routes in search of better living conditions, employment, and economic stability abroad.
Speaking with Cross-Section of residents in Ibadan, many attributed the situation to unemployment, economic hardship, and the desire for a better future.
Others expressed concern that many migrants are often unaware of the dangers involved, including human trafficking, kidnapping, and the possible loss of lives during the journey.
