‎Founder of the One Love Family and Living Perfect Master, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has alleged sustained intimidation and threats linked to an ongoing dispute involving what he described as his “holy land” in Ibadan, Oyo State.

‎Speaking during an interview with journalists on Sunday at Maharaj Ji Village, the spiritual leader accused suspected land grabbers of attempting to encroach on and destabilise the community surrounding the sacred site.
‎
‎Maharaj Ji alleged that certain individuals had repeatedly targeted the area through intimidation, legal disputes, and violent threats, claiming that some armed persons had in the past stormed the community and threatened his life and members of the One Love Family.
‎
‎He further accused unnamed persons of using fraudulent court processes and questionable ownership claims to dispossess legitimate landowners of their properties.
‎
‎According to him, the dispute over the land around Maharaj Ji Village has lingered for years, with the organisation consistently defending its ownership rights through legal channels.
‎
‎“The issue of land grabbing has become a major threat to peace and justice in society. We cannot continue to allow innocent people to be displaced from properties they legally acquired,” Maharaj Ji said during the interview.

‎The spiritual leader called on security agencies, the judiciary, and relevant authorities to intensify efforts against land grabbing and ensure justice for affected victims.
‎
‎He also appealed to journalists and media organisations to remain objective and professional in their reportage of land-related disputes, stressing the need for balanced reporting and proper verification of facts before publication.
‎
‎“Journalists must stand for truth and fairness. Before reporting sensitive matters like land disputes, there should be proper investigation so innocent people are not wrongly portrayed,” he stated.
‎
‎Maharaj Ji further urged Nigerians involved in similar disputes to seek lawful means of conflict resolution rather than resorting to violence or intimidation.
‎
‎He maintained that media practitioners play a critical role in promoting peace and preventing misinformation capable of escalating tensions within affected communities.
‎
‎“The press remains a powerful institution in society. Accurate and fair reportage can help restore justice, while false narratives can destroy families and communities,” he added.
‎
‎Maharaj Ji reiterated his message of peace, unity, and spiritual enlightenment, insisting that his mission remains focused on promoting harmony and societal development despite the ongoing tensions surrounding the land.

‎He also assured members of the One Love Family that the community would continue to pursue legal and peaceful means in addressing the dispute while advocating stronger action against alleged land grabbers across the country.
