Speakers took turns to recount her virtues, impactful life, and the legacy the deceased left behind.
Delivering a sermon at the service, the officiating minister, who is the District Superintendent, CAC Oke Agbara, Ashi, Ibadan, reminded attendees of the inevitability of death.
He noted that fear of death often drives people into engaging in questionable practices in a bid to preserve life.
“The fear of death makes people go into occultic practices and different things to protect themselves. But when death comes, there is no solution for But we must understand the fact that She has run her race,” he stated.
He urged the congregation to focus on what truly matters in life, stressing that challenges are part of human existence.
According to him, while individuals face different trials, life itself is transient.
“Everybody will pass through one or two things in life, but we pass through different things. Life is not a place of eternity; we shall all return to heaven,” he added.
