Oyo Assembly Hopeful, Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi Felicitates Christian Faithful on Easter
An Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful for Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1, Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christian faithful in Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1, Oyo State and across Nigeria.
In a statement released on Sunday, Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi described Easter as a significant period that reflects the virtues of sacrifice, love, hope, and renewal, as exemplified by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He noted that the season serves as a reminder of the triumph of faith over adversity and called on Nigerians to remain steadfast and hopeful despite prevailing challenges.
According to him, “Easter is a time for sober reflection and a call to embrace unity, compassion, and selflessness in our daily lives. It offers us another opportunity to strengthen our bonds as a people and work collectively towards the progress of our society.”
The Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1 assembly hopeful urged Christian faithful to use the occasion to pray for peace, stability, and development in Ibadan Southwest, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
He also emphasized the importance of promoting tolerance and harmonious coexistence among people of different religious and ethnic backgrounds.
Hon. Faysol further encouraged citizens to extend love and support to the less privileged, noting that such acts reflect the true essence of the Easter celebration.
He, however, wished all Christians a joyful Easter and prayed that the season brings renewed strength, blessings, and happiness to every home.
