APC Support Group Council DDG, Adeogun Visits Oyo APC; Backs Tinubu’s Re-election
The Deputy Director General, APC Support Group Council, Hon. Dr Adewale Adeogun on Thursday visited the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State, and thrown its weight behind the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Adeogun while addressing the leadership of the party in the state said urged party stakeholders and support groups to give maximum support to a leadership described as a “tested in the nation under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed.
Adeogun said the sterling credentials of President Tinubu at the national level make him the most suitable choices to sustain development and accelerate progress.
He stressed that the group had begun strengthening its grassroots structures across the Southwest through its numerous support groups across the nation.
“We are convinced beyond doubt that the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in the best interest of Nigeria. His administration has taken bold and necessary steps aimed at repositioning the country’s economy and governance structure for long-term stability and growth,”
“Nigeriand are yearning for his return because they believe he understands the vision of a modern Nigeria and possesses the competence and administrative capacity to drive it further.
He further urged members to actively engage residents, market leaders, youth groups, and community stakeholders across the state to explain why President Tinubu at the national level represented the best leadership for sustained progress.
In their separate comments, the Deputy Chairman, APC, Oyo State, Dr. Taofeek Lamidi, the woman leader, Dr. Felicia Opatunde and the publicity Secretary, Hon Olawale Shadare called on the support group council not to betray the confidence members reposed in them even after the election.
Also, at the meeting was the Secretary of Oyo APC, Hon Fatai Adesina, the state youth leader, Hon Glory Olalekan, Deputy Woman leader, Hon Fatima Hassan.
