Anthony Placid Replaces Hundeyin as Police Spokesperson
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Tunji Disu, has appointed Anthony Okon Placid, a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).
Placid replaces Benjamin Hundeyin, who was appointed to the position in September 2025 by the immediate past IGP, Kayode Egbetokun.
Hundeyin announced Placid’s appointment in a statement released on Sunday.
