2026 Isese Day Grand Finale Begins at Lekan Salami Stadium; Ayinla Omowura, Others Entertain Guests
The grand finale of the 2026 Isese Day celebration has commenced at the Indoor Tennis Court of the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
The event, organised by the Oyo State Ministry of Culture and Tourism in conjunction with the Heads of Traditional Religion in Oyo State, began this morning.
Traditional religion practitioners, cultural stakeholders and other participants have gathered at the venue to celebrate and promote Yoruba traditional culture and heritage.
The grand finale features cultural activities and engagements highlighting the richness of indigenous traditions and the importance of preserving the cultural heritage of Oyo State.
Government officials and other stakeholders are also expected to participate in the event, which forms part of activities marking the 2026 Isese Day celebration in the state.
The atmosphere at venue of the event is currently light up with quality songs by the DJ, including that of the late Ayinla Omowura, Isese Worshippers’ songs and full bass juju music.
