OYOSUBEB Denies Involvement in Common Entrance Examination Result Leak, Warns Against Defamatory Broadcasts

‎The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), has denied any involvement in the alleged leakage of the results of the just concluded Common Entrance Examination, as reported during a programme on a popular radio station in Ibadan.
‎
‎The Board, in a statement issued on Tuesday, described the allegation as false, misleading and capable of causing unnecessary damage to the reputation of the Board and its leadership.
‎
‎OYOSUBEB said it is not involved at any stage in the conduct, setting, production or handling of questions for the Common Entrance Examination.
‎
‎The Board therefore called on media organisations to exercise caution and verify facts before making or airing allegations concerning OYOSUBEB and its officials.
‎
‎The Board further warned that any defamatory statement, false allegation or continued smear campaign against its officials by any broadcaster or media platform will be met with strong legal action.
