DJ Chicken arrested for threatening to kill President Tinubu’s son, Seyi
Controversial entertainer DJ Chicken has been arrested over an alleged threat to the life of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.
DAILY POST had reported that DJ Chicken, in a video circulated on social media two days ago, claimed that President Tinubu would not win the 2027 presidential election. He also allegedly threatened to kill Seyi Tinubu if the president secured a second term.
Following the video’s circulation, reports of DJ Chicken’s arrest surfaced on social media. The reports were later confirmed by content creator Tunde Perry during a livestream on Thursday night.
Perry alleged that while neither President Tinubu nor his son was directly responsible for the arrest, individuals close to the Presidency initiated the action.
He said, “DJ Chicken did a video that Tinubu can’t win the next election. He also said that even if Tinubu wins, he will kill Seyi Tinubu. The president and his son are not responsible for his arrest, but those close to the Presidency did.”
The Nigeria Police Force has yet to issue an official statement on the arrest as of the time of filing this report.
