NUJIC Delegation Pays Congratulatory Visit to OYACA Executive Secretary
…expresses Confidence in Her Leadership
A delegation of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Information Chapel (NUJIC), led by its Chairman, Comrade Ismail Fasasi, on Wednesday paid a congratulatory visit to the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency (OYACA), Dr. (Mrs.) Folasade Ajibade, congratulating her on her appointment and expressing confidence in her ability to take the agency to greater heights.
Speaking during the visit, Comrade Fasasi said the delegation was at OYACA to celebrate Dr. Ajibade’s well-deserved appointment, noting that she is a valued member of the Information Chapel whose achievements continue to make the union proud.
He commended Dr. Ajibade for being a worthy ambassador of the union and assured her of the continued support and goodwill of NUJIC in the discharge of her responsibilities.
The NUJIC Chairman also expressed appreciation to the Chairman of OYACA and members of the agency for the support and cooperation extended to Dr. Ajibade, describing it as a demonstration of confidence in her leadership qualities and professional competence.
In her response, Dr. Ajibade thanked the NUJIC delegation for the visit and the honour accorded her, expressing profound appreciation to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for finding her worthy of the appointment, assuring him that she would justify the confidence reposed in her and discharge her duties with diligence and integrity.
Dr. Ajibade also thanked the Oyo State Head of Service for recognizing her competence and supporting her elevation to the position of Executive Secretary.
She further appreciated the union for its unwavering support over the years and pledged to uphold the values of integrity, accountability, transparency, and excellence in her new role as Executive Secretary of OYACA.
The visit further underscored the cordial relationship between the Information Chapel and its members serving in various capacities within the Oyo State Public Service, while reaffirming NUJIC’s commitment to celebrating and supporting the achievements of its members.
