Oyo Fire Service Extinguishes Vehicle Blaze in Ibadan, Prevents Casualties
The Oyo State Fire Services Agency has successfully put out a vehicle fire at Zone 1, Aare Bus Stop, Oluyole Extension, Ibadan, with no casualties recorded.
The incident involved a car with registration number NRK 642 PM and was reported at about 1:24 a.m. on Friday.
Fire fighters led by officer Adisa promptly responded to the distress call and took control of the situation upon their arrival at the scene, and subsequently extinguished the fire.
The swift intervention prevented the fire from spreading to other vehicles parked nearby while Preliminary investigation indicated that the blaze was caused by a battery explosion.
The agency confirmed that the fire service personnel returned safely to the station at about 7:32 a.m. after they successfully put out the blaze.
