‎Governor Makinde Directs Commissioners, Agency Heads to Document All Work Executed for Seamless Transition

‎Oyo State governor, engineer Seyi Makinde, has directed all commissioners, heads of departments and agencies to ensure that all works executed under their supervision are properly documented.

‎Governor Makinde gave the directive while speaking about governance and other matters connected therewith during a public engagement in the state.

‎He said the directive is necessary to guarantee continuity in governance and to make it easier for the incoming administration to understand and build on ongoing projects and policies.

‎According to him, the move is aimed at addressing a gap that has existed in many previous transitions, where successive governments did not benefit from a clear and structured record of development activities.

‎The governor added that proper documentation will serve as a reliable reference point for tracking progress across ministries, departments, and agencies while also strengthening institutional memory within the public service.

‎He further stated that the initiative will provide a structured roadmap for continued development in Oyo State, ensuring that future administrations can sustain and improve on existing achievements without disruption.
