Defence Minister, Christopher Musa Chairs Security Sub-Committee of APC 2026 National Convention
Following the composition of Sub-Committees for the upcoming 2026 National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure a smooth and hitch-free Convention, the various sub-committees including the Venue Committee is chaired by Governor Dapo Abiodun; while the Security Committee chaired by the Honourable Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd.).
Also, the Protocol Committee chaired by Governor Bassey Otu; and the Transportation Committee chaired by H.E. David Umahi, among others have held their inaugural meetings and commenced preparations in earnest.
These sub-committees are saddled with the responsibility of coordinating critical operational, administrative, electoral, logistics, security and programme activities necessary for the seamless conduct of the Convention.
The National Convention Central Coordination Committee, chaired by former Governor of Katsina State and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, has been mandated to coordinate and harmonise all activities leading to the successful conduct of the Party’s 2026 National Convention.
